The Leipsic Volunteer Fire Company wishes to extend its best wishes and speedy recovery to our brother in red Chief Buffy Madden, who suffered a severe medical emergency on February 6th, 2017. We are glad to hear your in good spirits chief! Stay strong! The Marydel Fire Company wrote: "Last evening our Chief Buffy Madden was transported to KGH for chest pains, during the transport he went into cardiac arrest. Paramedics deliver a shock to him and was able to get a rhythm back. Last evening he was in stable condition. Today Buffy had a heart cath and they found 2 significant blockages in which they placed two stints. Buffy is recovering at this time and is in good spirts. Please continue to pray for a speedy recovery. We thank everyone that who has called and prayed during these difficult days. Please refrain from calls and visits until tomorrow so Buffy and the family can get some rest. Thank you to the volunteers who have covered our district while we spent time at the hospital. "
